Sherry Marie Owens, age 41, of Council Bluffs, passed away October 20, 2013.

Sherry was born August 18, 1972, in Omaha, Neb., to Randy and DeAnna (Blanchard) Owens. She graduated Thomas Jefferson High School in 1990 and earned her CNA degree from IWCC. Sherry was a parttime worker at VODEC.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Oldham in 2009; father, Randy Owens; grandmother, Geraldine Owens; grandfathers, Marion Blanchard and Darold A. Owens.

Sherry is survived by her daughters, Maranda and Sharanda Oldham, both of Council Bluffs; mother, De- Anna (Kevin) Brown, of Omaha; sister, Stephanie (Jason) Koppold; grandmother, Betty Blanchard; stepdaughter, Amanda Boyd, all of Council Bluffs; special dogs, Ringo and Peanut; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Visitation with the family, Thursday, 6 to 8 p.m., at Cutler-O’Neill-Meyer-Woodring Bayliss Park Chapel. Funeral service, Friday, 11 a.m., at the funeral home with Reverend Mike York officiating. Interment Memorial Park Cemetery with a lunch following at the Walnut Hill Reception Center, 1350 E. Pierce St. The family will direct memorials.
