Children’s Square U.S.A. named a new vice president of resource development in early June.

Cheryl Clark, of Omaha, has over 30 years of experience in financial services, and over two decades of sales leadership in management, development and revenue retention, according to a release by Children’s Square.

In her new position, Clark will be responsible for planning and executing a comprehensive funding program in support of the needs at Children’s Square.

“Cheryl will work closely with our board and staff to communicate the mission and vision of Children’s Square and to secure resources that will sustain and grow the work of our agency. We are delighted to have Cheryl working with us,” said Carol Wood, president and CEO of Children’s Square.

Clark recently held a leadership position for an area nonprofit organization, slated to begin Leadership Council Bluffs Class 32 courses in September.

“I am excited to begin this new opportunity,” said Clark. “I am honored to be a part of the team at Children’s Square and to share its rich history of helping children and families.”

Originally from Dunlap, Clark and her husband, Bob, have two adult sons and three grandchildren.
