Join us for the Pink Out

Wear your "PINK," bring your family and friends and join us at 6 p.m. Friday, Oct. 14, at the 100 Block Passageway (next to T'z) on Broadway for the citywide Pink-Out Proclamation Ceremony. The first 100 breast cancer survivors to arrive will be given a free pink flower from Bloom Works. Specials on meals and drinks will be offered by many of our participating partners listed below.

How does the contest work?

We encourage folks to stay and check out the window displays and vote for your favorite at Scooter's, or view the entries and vote now for your favorite. Voting continues until 4 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 19, and the winner will be announced at The Daily Nonpareil's Diva Night.

After registering, go to the Vote page, and click the bubble of the entry you'd like to vote for. Then, click the orange Save Vote button at the bottom of the page. Problems voting? Call 712-325-5730.

Also, don't miss the 1st Annual Save Second Base Pub Crawl in the 100 block Saturday from 4-8 p.m. Proceeds benefit the Breast Health Center. Drink specials will be available at the bars; sign up in the Passageway.
