Sidney Milliron

Sidney Milliron is a medical laboratory scientist in the Lab Department and has been with CHI Health Mercy for 3 ½ years.

Sidney decided to go into healthcare from the time he was a kid and he wanted to be a scientist with crazy Einstein hair and beakers full of colored liquid. He was also really interested in human biology, so a career as a medical laboratory scientist seemed like a natural fit.

Sidney says the most rewarding thing about working at Mercy is “being part of a cohesive team that provides a beneficial service to our community. I like seeing the practical application of the science behind the medicine.”

Sidney’s favorite acronym is T.A.C.O. which stands for Transfusion Associated Circulatory Overload. Sidney has two ginger cats named Pan and Ajax.
