Hunter Saitta is 6 years old and in kindergarten at Plattsmouth Elementary. He lives with his parents, Tylene and Alex, his brother Hudson and German Shorthair Pointer, Captain.
Hunter was recently awarded “Citizen of the Month” in his class for being a good friend.
When he isn’t spending time at the pool, camping or fishing, you can find Hunter attending car shows with his mom’s 1970 Chevelle. Hunter’s family has been involved with the Wheels of Courage car show since the beginning.
Hunter and his brother Hudson are official pullers or riders of their “Rug Rat” Rat Rod Wagon and the “Curtain Climber” wagon around the car show.
Their grandpa, Steve, with Rhoades Restoration is a longtime supporter and sponsor of Wheels of Courage. The brothers also help their mom and grandma sell raffle tickets during the event!
The fifth annual Wheels of Courage takes place at Quaker Steak and Lube on Saturday. Funds raised during the event will benefit the Jennie Edmundson Foundation Spirit of Courage Charitable Patient Care fund. This fund provides assistance to patients who need help covering expenses associated with diagnosis and treatment of cancer.
