Sheri Holub has been the Imaging Services Manager at Methodist Jennie Edmundson Hospital since 2011. Holub, who is also an employee ambassador, plays an active role in promoting Pink Out.
“The Breast Imaging Center supports Pink Out activities and provides day-to-day screening or diagnostic testing throughout the year,” said Holub. “I have been touched by breast cancer through supporting friends and family members with their fight. Sooner or later it will reach everyone, if not personally, through others.”
Pink Out funds support the work of the Methodist Jennie Edmundson Hospital Breast Leadership Team. This includes programs such as free breast screenings, educational opportunities, capital improvements and community awareness.
This year’s Pink Out funds will also support the purchase of new imaging equipment that will improve surgical excision biopsy procedures, resulting in the patient spending less time in the operating room and better outcomes.
Your support of the citywide Pink Out activities and fundraising events during October help make it possible for the MJEH Breast Health Center to continue its important work.
