Leonard LeRoy Webster, Sr., age 94, passed away June 3, 2019, in Omaha, Neb.
Leonard was born, December 23, 1924, in Effie, Minn.; to the late John and Hazel (Goodman) Webster and was united in marriage to Marjorie Rickabaugh on June 8, 1947. Leonard worked for over 20 years as a carpenter for Hawkins Construction and was a 50 year member and past officer of Excelsior Masonic Lodge in Council Bluffs. He also was a Shriner and belonged to the Carpenter's Union, and New Horizon Presbyterian Church.
In addition to his parents, Leonard was preceded in death by son-in-law, Robert "Bill" Theisen; sisters, Juanita, Irene, Louise and Mary; brothers, Harold, Richard, Dale and Russell.
Survivors include wife of 72 years, Marjorie; children and spouses, Gloria Walenz (Cliff), all of Omaha, Leonard Jr. (Becky), Webster, of Ariz., Claudia Sue Theisen, Dennis (Amanda) Webster, also of Omaha; 8 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; sister, Helen Loveless, of Council Bluffs; numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be Sunday, 2 to 4 pm. Funeral, Monday, 11 a.m., all at Cutler-O'Neill-Meyer-Woodring Bayliss Park Chapel. Interment, at Ridgewood Cemetery, followed by a luncheon at the Walnut Hill Reception Center. Family will direct memorials.
